The eight districts of the South Texas Council and the counties they serve are:

- Aztec (includes Webb County and Camp Huisache)

- Mesquite (includes Duval, Live Oak and Jim Wells counties and Camp Karankawa)

- Venado (includes Brooks, Jim Hogg, Kenedy and Kleberg counties)

- Whooping Crane (includes Aransas, Bee, Refugio and San Patricio counties)

- DeLeon (includes Goliad and Victoria counties)

- Indianola (includes Jackson and Calhoun counties and Mauritz Scout Reservation)

- Gulf Breeze (includes the eastern portion of Nueces County and Lucien Flournoy Service Center)

- Tancahua (includes the western half of Nueces County)

- Phoenix District  (Serves “Scouting for the challenged”)
