Special events are organized by the South Texas Council and implemented throughout the year.  The income generated from these important and enjoyable activities supports Scouting operations across our 17 county region, and is critical for our success and continuation of our programs.

2007 Laredo Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner has been Postponed
This fundraiser has been postponed from the original date of November 28, 2007 to a date that is still to be determined in early 2008.

The Distinguished Citizen Honoree for Laredo is Dr. Ray Keck, President of Texas A&M International University in Laredo.
