Council Stand on Unit Activities and the North American "Swine" Flu

As concerns for the health of ourselves and our Scouts is heighten during this time, the South Texas Council would encourage each unit to contact their charter organization and their unit committee to come to a decision on whether or not to participate in the activities planned for their unit.  It is up to those two parties to decide whether conditions are unsafe for Scouting activities.

The South Texas Council urges everyone to make the best decision for the safety of themselves and of their scouts.  All Council and District sponsored activities will go on as planned unless otherwise noted.  Here are two links you may use to gather more information on the subject.
