2010 Sail Camp
The South Texas Council’s Sail Camp offers an exciting beginner and intermediate level program for Boy Scouts, Venturers, and Sea Scouts. Five sessions will be held this summer, so grab your sunscreen and sunglasses and come down to the Corpus Christi bay !
Lessons will be taught in one of the Corpus Christi Yacht Club’s Optimist Dinghy’s, 420 Dinghy’s, all perfect for the first sail.
This is a Day Camp, no overnight accommodations will be provided.
Session 1 June 28 - July 9 *
Session 2 July 12 - 23*
Session 3 July 26 - August 6*
Session 4 August 9 - 13**
Session 5 August 16 - 20**
* 2 week Sailing Camp
** 1 week Destination Camp All classes run from 8:30am - 3pm Camp Fee $300 per two week session; $160 per one week session, includes t-shirt | All registered Boy Scouts, Varsity Scouts, Venturers and Sea Scouts are invited to attend! We are offering 3 two week long sessions so that your youth may get much more sailing experience! |
